Happy Halloween!
I hope everyone is having a great halloween, not sure what i am going to be doing exactly. Last night my friend Becka had a nice little house party and everyone had to dress up, so Shawn and I decieded to be evil inspired ragdolls, and of course we won best couple. She made little prizes for everyone, it was quite lovely. Everyone loved the gingerbread cookies and oatmeal raisin cookies i brought. Was such a great night, i might just want to stay home and enjoy a few scary movies and wait to see if we get any trick-or-treaters, last year we had one kid which is fine by me, left over candy!
Hope everyone was a wonderful holiday!

afghans
So i have stopped working on my mothers christmas present because, frankly it was waaay to long, legit its would be more like a king size bedspread rather than a afghan to cosie up on the couch with. so i decieded to make a new one for her about half the size.
Im gonna do alot of bright earthy colors. i started it with orange. it was going to orginally be a scarf for myself because i adore the color, but for the greater good of crochet i would turn it into a great christmas present for my momsicle. i know she will love it, she loves the one i made myself. and everytime she wraps herself up in it she will think of me!

One of my favorite times of the year, Pumpkin Carving!
We started out the day with a little football, go Pats then finally made our way outside to start carving. It was a blast. We all picked some great and fun patterns, well sarah never uses a pattern she just wings it. I have to say Mitch's mummy came out pretty sweet. I made the headless horseman :)

The recipes for banana bread vary but are usually pretty basic, this is the recipe i used.
Ingredients
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
3 really ripe bananas
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 cup walnuts
Pinch of cinnamon
Preheated the oven to 350, and used a standard bread pan I don't have a electric hand mixer so i used my hand one so i creamed the margarine and sugar by hand.
Add the eggs one at a time. Add the bananas and mix well. Add the baking soda, salt, flour, and cinnamon and mix thoroughly. The dough will be sticky.
Pour the dough into the prepared pan and bake about one hour or until the center is brown and set.
I set the walnuts on top because my sister doesn't like nuts so she can easily pick them off, i know what a nice sister. and actually it tastes pretty sweet on top as well.
Enjoy.yummmmmmmmmy oreos.
ooh and last but not least, i tried finally a threadbangers post, this one is from the make a beanie, poncho and mittens out of a old sweater, ill find the link for ya. well i successfully made the beanie, the mittens not so much. i haven't sewn in a hot minute, and without my own machine i kind of con Shawn into letting me try stuff at his house. hes so sweet. The sweater was actually a friend of mine, he dried it and it ended up shrinking, so of course i snatched it up and went to town, and literally was sooo easy. now I'm rummaging around the house trying to find things that are too small so i can cut them up in to new things. lets hope for a few more beanies by the end of the winter season, i loooooooooove hats and beanies just as much as scarves :)

the city bus.
i loathe loathe loathe the city bus.
and its not even that i have to pay 1.25 per zone, its the creepos who take the bus, and granted its not everyone, but alot of creepos ride the bus. most of the time, i end up on the bus and the people are just average working class or old ladies taking the bus to walmart. but somehow at the terminal the oddest people hang around, i dont know where they come from or where they are going too.
so i did a little bus inspired shoot with my camera phone to capture my extremely uneventful bus ride to peters house.

<3
About a year ago while working at sovereign, i was on break and i was eating gummy bears i broke one of my teeth. I actually thought it was a hard piece of candy and didn't think much of it until like days later when i realized i was missing part of my tooth. it didn't hurt so i just kind of shrubbed it off. well now over a year later it keeps getting infected and without insurance i am just doomed. i applied for mass health. so hopefully i will get it or some form of insurance and be able to fix it, because last night i was in tears and i literally wanted to rip my tooth out.
Today has been such a lazy day because i was up til almost 7 this morning in pain, and in sheer desperation i took a sleeping pill hoping to knock me out cold and well it did, i slept til 430. sheer disbelief when i woke up. so now i have nothing else to say and i was reading eliz's page and saw a quick little 4 and 4 so decided to do it. so enjoy!

Scarf Season
I'm kinda of disappointed in New England weather, it seems like we don't have a fall, like it got cold really fast! For petes sake, i wore gloves yesterday while walking to work! What happened to my hoodie season and the decorate scarf??
Oh, and this is the only scarf in my house I did not make!
Trying to get supplies ready for my Second Annual Pumpkin Carving party, Becka and Mitch's costume party, then Halloween, pics to come!

actually another poems from another site of mine.
Have you ever cared too much for someone
that it just hurts
knowing you need to stop
but just seeing them pulls you deeper into them
consciensously knowing there is nothing you can do
like your just caught in the moment
you tripped into it
you fell into love
and now the quicksand is pulling
you futher and further in
every time you try to escape.
you try to hide it but
its written all over your face
you try to deny it but
the excuses just suck
